Sam Sam the Piper Man –
The locks are subpar and barely work. They’re very loose. The drawer handle was bent and would not fit the Predrilled holes. It was delivered with the back panel damaged.

Got everything put together and the drawers don’t fit in the cabinet, the locks are useless because the drawers don’t push all the way in. I looked to make sure I put it together properly and everything is done just as the instructions are written. I have never seen such a crappy product in my life. This should not be sold to anyone, it is defective crap. Now I’ve wasted several hours of my life putting garbage together with screws and I have a worthless tower made of crap sitting in my office.

I use this to store documents in my office with dividers inside. It keeps my paperwork organized, and the lock integrated into each drawer is a huge plus.

It looks nice, but I would NOT trust the locks, nor the sturdiness when filled with documents. It’s made of MDF board, not steel or metal.
Instructions aren’t very clear in a few places, but I figured it out.
Again, I would not trust the locks. They’re held in by teeny tiny screws that are not nearly long enough. You could probably just rip the lock off the drawer if you lost the six, yes six, keys they sent with the cabinet.
Not impressed at all. Get a different cabinet.

I like the wood filing cabinet instead of the metal. I have both and the wooden one looks so much nicer and functions exactly the same as the metal. I even put this model in a bedroom and it looks fine. You can also feel okay about putting something on top of it. If I had it to do over again, I would exchange my metal one for this model!

I needed a smaller file cabinet. This is very heavy and well built. It took a while to put together – there are a lot of parts. Instructions say to not tighten until completely together – very true, which is the reason for the 4 stars on easy to assemble. I got it all together and realized the locks didn’t work. Had to loosen a lot of screws – get it locked and re-tightened. All the tools are included which was helpful, but the allen wrench was so small, my fingers hurt by the time I was done. Overall, very happy with it.

I was excited for this filing cabinet but was super disappointed with missing parts and screws that didn’t work or were too short for the task. I couldn’t even get the locks in without stripping the wood. It does feel super sturdy and I like the look but it’s a bust because of the sucky assembly.

I was honestly a bit iffy of purchasing this file cabinet due to some of the reviews. But, in the end, we wanted to go with it because it looked really nice in the photos and is particle board and not metal and would ultimately look better in our space. It took about 3 hours ish to put together. Instructions were clear, easy to follow and they even included the tools needed. One of the better engineering items I’ve purchased. The drawers all work great and the locks work great as well. So happy with the purchase!
